Went to Brigus last night to watch the fireworks. It was the end of the Blueberry festival. The fireworks were not that great. The finale was nice but the rest were pretty crappy! Oh well...I just like to see how bright the sky gets. It lit up the mountain.....gorgeous.

It's been so hot outside I don't know what to do with myself. I hear it's supposed to rain tomorrow and I'm hoping for thunder and lightening like you don't even know! I would give anything to sit in the comfy chair in front of the window and watch the sky light up.

The process to get a licence to take Paul for weekends seems to be dragging on forever. At the rate it's going it doesn't look like we'll get to take him any time before the summer is over. I feel bad about it too...mom hasn't had a real break from him in years, and she deserves one. That poor woman is a saint.

I saw a little of the olympics today. Canada didn't win anything of course. Just my luck I won't be watching when they do win! I love to watch the synchronized swimming. I really admire athletes. They work so hard. They've got to be super proud of themselves. Saw an interview with the mother of one of the young men who won a medal in swimming. She was so proud of her son. Makes me want to cry!
