Busy, busy, busy!
Hey all

Just letting you know that I'm still alive!! I've been having such a wonderful holiday :) We had a great Christmas. Santa was super good to all of us over here. Terrence came to visit, which was so nice. I didn't realize how much I miss talking to him. I'm looking forward to meeting his girlfriend next Christmas.

We had a party here the other night and are having another one tomorrow night for New Year's Eve! Lynette and I will be busy tonight making up the snacks for tomorrow. I can't wait for everyone to get here. It's gonna be fun!

I hope you all had a great holiday and a Merry Christmas. Happy New Year to you all. Take care of yourselves. Talk soon. Ta ta for now.

*and i can't ask for things to be still again, no i can't ask if i can walk through the world in your eyes*...ahh, my Missa :-)

It's Christmas!!!
Heya Guys

I'm sitting here enjoying all the wind and rain! I almost blew away after work! Had an interesting day. Nolan's home with pink eye. I washed my hands about a thousand times throughout the day. I DO NOT want that dirt for Christmas. Knowing me and my knack for catching things, though, I'll be here on Christmas morning with pink gooey eyes! Yuck!

Well, this past weekend was crazy. On Friday night after Lynette got off work, we went to Town for some shopping. Didn't get home until after 2 in the morning. Had a great time though. I got a white fleece hoodie at Old Navy for less than 6 bux. I was super impressed. :)

Got up on Saturday morning to go to the Santa parade here in Clarke's Beach...my, my, my...has anyone ever been to a hick Santa parade?! There was a total of 3 floats, about 10 fire trucks, and then Santa rode through. It took all of five minutes for the whole thing to drive through the main road of Clarke's Beach! Truthfully, I was a little embarassed for the Town. I mean, if that's all they could come up with, they should have just said forget about it.

Left the parade and went to get my hair trimmed. I still really love this haircut. The bangs are my favorite part. Then mom and I went to Carbonear. Once we got back in Bay Robert's we were going to stop in to the liquor store. We were getting out of the car and mom couldn't find her purse!!! We searched the entire car and it wasn't there. So I phoned Walmart and the lady I spoke to told me that someone had turned in a purse and when she checked the I.D., it was mom's! We took off back to Carbonear, mom got her purse, and there wasn't a thing missing! She was so relieved. Poor thing was nearly in tears. Besides her debit and credit cards, there was a substantial amount of cash (her car payment) in her purse. Thank god there are still people who won't rob you blind.

On Sunday I went with mom and Jordan to the Pentecostal church to watch their Christmas Catata (I think that's how it's spelled!) Andrew was in it. It was lovely. Andrew played Friar John Mohr, the monk who wrote "Silent Night". When Friar Mohr learned that the church organ was broken and wouldn't be fixed in time for Christmas, he wrote a song that was meant to played on the guitar. I am in no way becoming 'churchy' (LOL) but I was moved to tears a couple of times watching the whole thing. I could seriously feel how much these people believed in their words and the spirit of it all. It's nice to have something to believe in.

When I got home from church I went with Chris and Lynette driving around to get ice cream and ooh and ahh over people's Christmas lights. We went to Port de Grave to see the boats. So beautiful. 'My' boat was lovely, of course! And that's it! That's everything I've been up to lately. I hope everyone has a great Christmas, full of love and happiness and hugs. I'll talk to you all soon. Ta ta for now.

Merry Christmas!

*silent night, holy night. all is calm, all is bright...sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace*

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Hi everyone

It's been a while. I have no reason for not writing. I've just been lazy :) I've had a lovely couple of weeks since I last posted. On Saturday (Dec.4) I went to the Santa parade in Bay Robert's. That was so nice. I hadn't been to a parade in years, since I was a kid, actually, and I had the best time. Seeing the floats come up the road I felt excitement like I haven't felt in a long time. My eyes filled with tears and I was so happy. Standing there with mom all I could think about was when I was little and she would hold my hand and I would hold Chris's and we would walk up the track to the train station to wait for Santa so we could get our treat bag after the parade. Oh to be young again...

On Sunday (Dec.5) Chris, Lynette and I put up our tree and decorated the house. It looks a lot like Christmas around here! I haven't gotten under the tree to look up at the lights yet, but I will before Christmas is over. There is nothing more relaxing than lying under a lit Christmas tree :)

I've been shopping, and I went to see Rory this past Saturday to give him his birthday gift (his bday was on the 12th). Other than that I haven't really been doing anything. Just relaxing and getting ready for Christmas :) We have all sorts of plans for the 25th and we are having a party here on New Years Eve. I can't wait for the holidays to get here.

Now that I've caught you all up on what's going on I'll mosey on. Take care of yourselves. Talk soon. Ta ta for now.

*oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful. and since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow*

Government Sluts
So, apparently when the Student Loan people sends you your Interest Relief approval letter, that's it! No warning letter when the Interest Relief is almost up. They expect for us poor fools to remember SIX MONTHS down the road that, "Oh! It's time to reapply for Interest Relief". Well, this poor fool's memory don't work like that! I completely forgot that my I. R. was up at the end of October and when I checked my bank account today they had taken my payment! Bastards!!

So, as soon as I got home I phoned them...I was so mad! I haven't felt anger like that since I lived on Blackmarsh Rd. and was in a constant state of anger towards those people (haha!)...Janice knows what I'm talking about. I was talking to a very nice, very helpful woman and now I have a new application coming. Thank Jesus! She said I could try to get a refund of the payment that they took but she recommended that I just let that payment go. She said it will take 10 days for the payment to go through and then probably another 2 weeks before they reviewed it to see about issuing a refund cheque.

God damn government sluts. If you owed them money they'd be knocking on your door for it. But when they might owe you, they're all about making you wait for it! So, I've decided to let the payment go through. I don't want the drama of fighting for it. That's my day in a nutshell...I have a headache like a son of a bitch, and I'm tired. I'm looking forward to the weekend like nobody knows.

Take care of yourselves Lovies. Talk soon. Ta ta for now.
