Halloween!
Happy Spooky Day everyone!

This has been such a busy weekend. Yesterday (Saturday) I went to St. John's to do some shopping...and shop I did! I bought so much stuff. I am almost done all my Christmas shopping which I am happy about, plus I got a few things for myself! I think it should be against the law to shop and come home without something for yourself! haha!

When I got home last night at about 11 PM there was a full house here. Chris and Lynette had some friends over and they were all drinking so I played a drinking game with them. I was drunk in about 15 minutes!! Fun times! At about 12:30 we decided to order food...so I was eating Country Delight fingers, fries and gravy at almost 1:30 AM! Shocking I know, but it was so damn good! I wasn't hungover this morning and I'm grateful for that.

Now I'm home alone. Chris and Lynette are gone with the boys trick or treating, and I am here waiting for trick or treaters to come. There are not very many at all :( When we were kids the roads would be full of people out looking for candy and now it seems like the kids couldn't be bothered to go out at all. Makes me sad...I love to see all the little cuties come in their costumes. *Oh! I just had another trick or treater!* Yay! I've had about 15 so far tonight. I hope more will come.

Rory and Nolan came to visit me in their costumes. I had a big bag each made up for them! Their mom will murder me when she sees all the junk I put in them...along with books and stickers and stuff! I can't help myself. I love to spoil them. They're absolute cuties :)

I must mosey on again I suppose. See about getting something to eat. I hope nobody eggs my house. I know what kind of hooligans live around here! Have a great Spooky Day guys. Eat lots of treats but don't get sick! Talk soon. Ta ta for now.

*It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark. Under the moonlight you see a sight that almost stops your heart. You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it. You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes, you're paralyzed. Cause this is thriller, thriller night...*

Quiet Weekend
I've started reading the book "Fall On Your Knees" by Ann-Marie MacDonald. I am hooked! By the end of the first page I was already in love! She writes so beautifully. I am anxious to be done the book just to know what happens, but I know once I actually am done I will be sad because there's no more to read!

It's going to be a quiet weekend (I hope!). I've decided that I'm probably going to stay home all weekend. I can't go shopping as I am trying to save my money for next weekends shopping day in St. John's. So, I will most likely just rent some movies, have a glass of wine and try to get through the pile of magazines I have that I have yet to read! "Dumb and Dumber" is on my mind to rent. As Debbie has been teasing me with lines from it every time we speak, I'm dying to see it again :-)

Went grocery shopping this evening and bought some of that new Cottonelle Cashmere toilet paper. Debbie, I can still picture you wrapping your arms around yourself saying, "mmm....Cashmere!" The image still brings me to tears with laughter! :-)

I can't stop looking at those Salad Fingers toons! *shiver* They make me feel so creepy. The background music...his voice...I have goosebumps right now just writing about it. I think David Firth has some serious issues. Who has an imagination like that? Really? *shiver*

Have a great weekend everybody. Be lazy whenever possible :-) Relax and enjoy. Take care of yourselves Sweetie's. Talk soon. Ta ta for now.

*Fall on your knees. Oh hear the angels voices*

So Broke!
I've been shopping again! I spent so much money today. I have a good chunk of my Christmas gifts bought though, which I am very happy about. Don't you love it when you go to the mall and you actually find things to buy? Usually when I go shopping I am unable to find things I am looking for but today it seemed like things were just jumping off the shelves at me!!

I am in love with Walmart :) It is seriously the best store on earth! It has everything and anything you could possibly want or need. I'm crazy, I know. Maybe I need professional help for this shopping addiction! hehe! God help me in two weeks when I go to St. John's to have a look. I'll come home loaded down! Ahh, shopping :)

Since I was at Edwina's I have been wanting wine. Don't ask me why, all I know is I've been dying for a glass. So I went to the liquer store today and I don't have a clue about wine or what a decent one to buy is, so I asked one of the women who works there to help me out. She recommended one and I bought it, and I can tell you two glasses later that it is delish :) I've decided that I like red better than white. Now all I have to do is buy those beautiful crystal wine glasses I love...

So I had a very productive day, I'm tired and I'm tapped out. It doesn't get any better than this. My mood these past two days has been so good and happy that it's almost scaring me a little!! haha! I can't remember the last time I felt so good. Take care of yourselves Sweetie Pie's.

Talk soon. Ta ta for now.

*Is it as beautiful as you. Make it as beautiful as you*

Turkey Day
I had a great weekend! On Friday I took off for Stephenville and had an interesting time on the bus. I finally got a seat to myself in Springdale and was settling down for a nap when an older man got on in Grand Falls, sat with me, and proceeded to talk non-stop for the last four hours of my trip! He was very sweet and kept me company in Deer Lake when we had a half hour supper break. He told me that he will never forget me and he wanted me to go on with him to Port aux Basques to get the ferry so he would have some company! haha! I told him that I couldn't because if the bus stopped in Stephenville and I didn't get off, Debbie would start to worry!! Poor thing...he still had such a long way to go.

I won't go into great detail about all the things I did while in Stephenville as Debbie already wrote about it. I did have an excellent time shopping in Corner Brook. I absolutely love shopping there. They have the best Reitman's ever! I got a really nice sweater that I can't wait to wear. I also got a few gifts for people, so I didn't only spend money on myself! My god, the scenery over there is gorgeous. The trees are all pink or orange or red or yellow. I got some pictures. I hope they come out ok.

Sunday dinner was wonderful. I love Debbie's coworkers. It's so nice to know that there are people in the world who don't know you from anywhere and yet they invite you into their home, feed you, make you feel welcome, and then hug you before you leave telling you to come back and visit. Edwina and Billy were such gracious hosts. Such lovely people. I would definitely love to see them again. And I really like Michelle! What a cute, funny little woman she is. She is hilarious! I hung out with her a couple of times and she is awesome! :)

Monday was the saddest day I've had in a little while. I cried while I was getting ready to go to the bus. I cried when I got on the bus and didn't stop until I got to Corner Brook. Then I napped off and on for about four or five hours. I honestly didn't want to come back here. I just wanted to stay where I was.

Today I feel a little sad, as I always do when I have to leave Debbie. I have such fun with her and when I have to come back to 'real life' I really feel it. Thankfully within a few days things will settle back into the same ole same ole, and I'll still miss her but at least my heart won't hurt as badly.

Anyhoo, I'll end here. I hope everybody's weekend was as lovely as mine. Talk soon. Ta ta for now.

*Don't cry, you know the tears will do no good, so dry your eyes*
