As you all may know, I am not the biggest fan of winter...especially snow. But yesterday I started hearing about a heavy snowfall warning for St. John's and area, and I started praying for a snow day! And here I am!! At home at 1:13 on a Friday afternoon! I love unexpected long weekends. Bless the snow!! haha!

There's some sort of telethon thingy on the radio today for the Red Cross. They're raising money for the tsunami fund. I'm thinking about calling and giving them some money. I've stopped watching the news so much. They kept showing all these little bodies littered all over the beaches there. My heart can only take so much. One night I was watching the news and they showed a man on the beach holding the dead body of his child and he was crying so loudly...sobbing. It broke my heart. Then I couldn't stop crying. I really think I'll call and try to help them in whatever little way I can.

I just read Sheldon's post about his memory land comfort! I've been having some of that lately too. Rory and I have been playing outside since there's a bit of snow and he's so cute to watch. Running around in his clunky boots and lying on the ground making snow angels! And his already red cheeks are so rosy. I could bite him!
