Hey hey!

How's everyone doing these days? I am much better now that the flu has past. I went to bed on Tuesday night and was awake for most of the night shivering and feverish! Then for about four days I was aching like crazy! I still have a headache today, but I feel much better.

Mom and I went shopping on Saturday. I hadn't been to Carbonear since Christmas!!!! I couldn't believe it had been that long. It was a really nice day. We were able to leave Paul home and that makes such a difference. I bought little valentine presents for my boys and an Oscar the Grouch nightshirt for me! And, OMG....I went into the electronics dept. at Walmart and what did my little eyes happen upon?? A DVD for my Missa's Lucky album. That went into my cart faster than you can blink! It's called "Melissa Etheridge Lucky Live". I could do a dance! (I actually did a little dance) I was so excited. I had no idea there was a DVD out.

Speaking of Melissa, I watched her on the Grammy's last night. She sang in a tribute for Janis Joplin. My girl is completely bald. I knew she had treatment for her cancer but for some reason it never even entered my head that she would have lost her hair. So when she walked out on stage and I saw her....my heart broke. I cried all through her performance. She was so beautiful and she looks so healthy. I'm so glad she's healthy....

Mom found an old cassette tape I made back in high school. It's all Celine Dion songs. I remember borrowing D's Celine CD's to record them. What a blast from the past. My eyes teared up as I was singing along! Mom and I singing our best! You should have heard us!
