So, I'm finally getting around to getting my bedroom done. Dad and Chris seperated the basement into two bedrooms, one each for me and Andrew, and I've been having a good time making it pretty! I have all the walls painted a very pretty shade of purple called 'Daybreak', and I have a new comforter to go on my brand new double bed! The comforter has a bunch of colors in it, purple being one of them and also red, so I chose red to be my accent color in the room and it's absolutely lovely. :)

I bought some red material and mom made me some window toppers and it really sets off the room. It actually looks like a bedroom now. Whole and homey and lived in. B has been helping me on the weekends when he's out and it's so nice to have someone to help me get things done! Yesterday he put together the vanity that I got for Christmas so now I have a place for my makeup and hair straightner and Chris put up some shelves for me on Saturday and I've been putting things up around. It's my own space and I have privacy and it smells pretty. :) The only thing left to do is to put up a door, and dad and Chris are going to do that for me when the weather gets a little nicer so they can get outside with the power saws and whatnot!

Monday past, Feb.27, I had the day off work so I decided to go to St. John's, as I haven't been there is ages and ages. Lynette has been working in there since December so I got a ride in and out with her. What a great day I had! B and I spent the whole day at the mall and we went to see a movie (Firewall, great movie), and we had lunch and went to the arcade (cuz he loves it!) and I, of course, did some shopping. I even dropped in at Jenn's work and saw her and chatted for a few minutes. It was so good to see her. I miss seeing everyone. I also got to introduce her to B which was nice. :)

Speaking of B, his birthday is coming up in a few weeks, on March 28th. I gotta think of something to get him. I already have something in mind that he knows about so I have to think of a surprise to go with it. It sucks that the 28th falls on a weekday. So we'll have to celebrate on the weekend I suppose. I wonder what we'll do...

Oh! Lynette asked me to stand at her wedding!! I have to give a speech welcoming her to our family and I get to wear a pretty dress! I'm really excited and it was really sweet of her to ask me. :)

I have become semi-addicted to the band Stabbing Westward. B introduced me to their music and I absolutely love it. I can't stop listening to their cd's. It's all I listen to these days!
