The school year is almost over. I have a week and a half left of work, and then I'll be off for a couple of months. The Shortall's have asked me back for September and I told them I would be back. They were really happy I said yes. They said they didn't want to lose me :) Rory will be in Kindergarten so I'll only have him for half the day and nothing is definite yet, but he might be coming here instead of me going to their house which I think will be a nice change. Rory adores mom and she loves him and he's such a social butterfly. He'll have a blast being here with all the guys!

Mom is trying to get a summer recreational softball league started up for the kids around here. She hasn't had a lot of calls about it but she's had enough to make a few teams, so I hope it works out. I'm looking forward to volunteering as a couch for the summer. We'll see what happens. Things have changed since I was a kid. Every summer we had loads of kids signed up to play. I still have my trophies and plaques. Kids don't want to do anything anymore.

On Saturday, B and I will be celebrating our anniversary. One whole year! :D Time certainly flies. I think we're going to go to the fair and then to Jungle Jim's. I'm really looking forward to it. I love spending time with him. We have such a great time together. He's a sweetie that's for sure. I love him a lot. :X

And just a few weeks until my birthday! 26 is creeping up on me! I don't feel my age at all, and apparently I don't look it either! We were at Jungle Jim's about a month ago (yes, we love Jungle Jim's, haha) and I ordered a drink and the girl serving us asked for my ID! B must be keeping me young! I have no idea of any plans for my birthday yet. I'm sure we'll think of something between now and then.
