Northern Bay Sands
On Saturday past I went to Northern Bay Sands with B, Chris, Lynette, Andrew and J. What a fun day we had! I'd never been to NBS before (which was a shock to everyone because apparently everyone and his uncle has been there at least once!) Anyway, we got there just before 1:00 and we set up our blankets and stuff and the guys played frisbee and I, of course, applied my sunscreen! SPF 70! Honestly. I put it on three times throughout the day and only came home with a slight sunburn. I'm quite impressed. I have a little bit of pretty color and no blisters or swelling (which is what I usually get when I venture out into the sun).

NBS is so lovely. The sand is so soft and you can only walk on it for a minute before it starts to burn your feet. Then you go into the ocean and your legs go numb because it's freezing! We walked down the beach and I saw a shell sticking up in the sand and I tried to nudge it out with my toe but it was stuck. So B got it out and it was a gigantic snail shell with a gigantic snail still inside. We took some pictures of it.

We got something to eat at the little restaurant that's there and then we went through a trail and came to a little pond with much warmer water and that's where we stayed for the rest of the afternoon. It was nice day :)

On Sunday I'm off to Town for a week! B's brother and uncle will be in Spaniards Bay so we'll have the apartment to ourselves. We're going to go shopping and see a movie and just do fun things. I love Town. I'm really looking forward to going in.

That's it for now. Take care everyone.
